Konnichiwa! Hello all! heehee, we had so much fun + worries yesterday ):
First, we woke up to a 'shiok' breakfastttttt! :D A good start to a new day :)
After breakfast, we set off to Aso farm land !!!
As it was a dairy farm, they sold alot of dairy products there!
We had some free time to explore their shop on our own :)
So most of us got some souvenirs and snacks for our friends & families back in Singapore !
Currently in Singapore, there's the Great Singapore Sales (GSS).
So, when Singaporeans go to Japan, it became the Great Japan Sales practically :D:D:D
Some of us spent quite a sum of money in the farm!
So after shopping, we went set off for early lunch!
We learnt to make buckwheat noodles ; Soba @ a restaurant in Kugino! :)
As we alight from the bus to the restaurant, one of us slipped from the steps of the bus.
And she hurt her backbone ): She was sent to the local hospital for a checkup.
We were very worried for her & it dampened our spirits :(
So the rest of us had to learn the process of making soba,
which lightened the atmosphere by a little as all of us were quite worried for our dear friend.
Our 2 lovely teacherrrrrrrrrrrrs in the picture, ate the noodles we made.
& when we were making the noodles, they had so much comments! Grrrrrrrrrrrr, >:(
Say people make soba, we make kwayteow ): Sad max lorrrrrrr.
Soooooooooooooooo, the final producttttttttttttttt is..........................
This is the cold version that MrChan & Emily had :)
Kimberly, Dawna & MrTan had the hot one.
& the Japanese waitress there actually 'misunderstood' MrTan as a 'HOT TEACHER' ._.
After lunch, we headed to Shirakawa Riverhead on our own without our guide.
So our only sense of direction would be the driver, which we hardly talk to.
So as we reached the Riverhead, the guys started to have a sip of the water thr.
& their first reaction was like 'WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH'
So after they drank, it was the girl's turn.
Dawna & Kimberly had second helpings too! HAHHAAHAH.
So as we progressed to another part of the river with our new tour guide, MrTan & MrChan,
We saw...............
Dawna & Kimberly saw the plants and everything inside the river, & was shocked.
So as the teachers explained to us on where the water source came from etc.
The water tasted very different from the one we drank at Gunung Pelepah during our Sec3 camp.
Afterwhich, we went to the local hospital to fetch our dear friend.
The doctor had certified that she was well enough to join us again :D:D:D
Phewwwwwwwwwwwww~
We had a 2hrs bus ride to the Notsu Farming Village. We went to the hall,
& met our host families :)
They were very friendly and made us feeel very welcomed :)
We had a short briefing & off we go to our new home.
Venusa, Emily, Kimberly & Dawna stayed at different houses, but they were neighbours!
So together with our guide, Masa-san, Mrs Leong & Mdm Kartini, we went over to Takeo house,
where Mrs Leong,Masa-san, Venusa and Kimberly were staying at.
After dinner, we were forced t wear the kimonos prepared by the hosts
We were shy at first, but we thought it'll be a pretty good experience so we decided to wear it :D
We wore the kimonos to watch firefliesssssssssssssssssssss~
After that, we went back to our new homes & undressed the kimonos.
Takeo-san was so nice, he even printed our pictures for us :)
After which, the teachers tried on the kimonos !
We then went back t our respective houses & turned in :)
Wonderful day :D
Okayokay, byebye :D
